The trick: twenty times, minus one

19 × n = 20 × n − n: 19 × 8 = 160 − 8 = 152. Same idea as the 9s, one place up.

Patterns in the 19s

The last digits from 19 × 1 to 19 × 10 run 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, 0: every digit from 0 to 9 appears exactly once, so no two answers in the first ten share an ending.

The 19 times table is the 10 times table plus the 9 times table, row by row: 19 × 6 = 10 × 6 + 9 × 6 = 60 + 54 = 114.

Each answer is 19 more than the one before, so if you know 19 × 6 = 114, then 19 × 7 is 114 + 19 = 133.
